About TWA (Time For Women Artists)
TWA was formed in 2015 to support and enhance each member’s art, process, and opportunities. They are a diverse group of 13 female artists working in a variety of media and styles with a mission to give guidance and support, share information, education, and opportunities, and relate to the profession of art making with other female artists. As artists, TWA members interpret, reflect and construct reality in every work they create. Personal perspectives and individual styles shape their artwork but it is also undeniably influenced by current events and social context. All members reside in San Diego County, have decades of experience in the arts, and a strong exhibition history. Many are also art educators.
